*shakes off the cobwebs*

In the words of Frank Costanza, "I'M BACK, BAYBEE!"

After a very long hiatus that I confess wasn't filled with much soul-searching or travels to Africa, George Comics is back in production. I just needed a break from the strip and it lasted WAY longer than I first intended it to. Anyway, I hope some old readers will come back and check out the strip again. I'm not going to force myself to stick to much of a deadline, instead just releasing new comics as I do them. Less pressure on me, which hopefully will result in a better end product. And rest assured that I'll still be producing them with regularity despite the lack of weekly deadlines. Enjoy!

I ain't dead yet!

Just wanted to let you all know that I haven't forgotten about you or George. I'm still around! A friend of mine told me that I should, at the very least, shop George around while I'm on this bit of a hiatus I'm taking. So, I agreed that it's a good idea, and I think I'm gonna submit it to a few syndicates again. If getting syndicated didn't give me a swift kick in the ass towards doing the comic regularly again, then...well, I don't know how to finish this sentence, so I'll take a page out of George Carlin's book and take a small bow. Hope everyone's doing well!

I'm alive!

I know I've been neglecting the blog for a while, and neglecting to update the comic strip for a little while now as well. I've gotten a lot busier at my job lately, with new assignments falling all over me. It's sort of lead to me not having the time or drive to get new comics done. That being said, George is certainly not going away, but updates may be...a little sparser than they've been for the past year (Yes! George has been live on the web for a full year now, yay!). Of course, I'm sure you all want to know what's going to happen to Dave and Chiwawa, and believe me, it's going to be mind-blowing. Or...somewhat amusing! Hopefully one of the two, right? Keep checking back!
